Today we chased rainbows! Sun came up, so we dashed out. Ended up seeing THREE rainbows !! We went up the R334 and then hiked the Diamond Trail in Connemara National Park....BEAUTIFUL. Then, drove from here to the town of Cong. That drive was spectacular; sun was out the ENTIRE day. The way the blue sky hits the tan autumn grass is just beautiful. At some point I will stop taking pictures of the sheep along the road, but for now it is great fun.
Food here has been excellent, as you know. We will be sorry to leave tomorrow; but looking forward to Dungloe. If the weather is half as nice we will be blessed. Lauire and Keith New York Brammers spent a month in Ireland, a cottage in Dungloe, then on to Galway, down to the Loop Head lightkeepers house, cottage in Kenmare and a week at the Galley Head lightkeepers house. |

The Sullivan's set us up with lovely B&B accommodations and all the hosts were friendly with a warm Irish welcome. It was a wonderful experience to share with family. Guinness from the tap in Ireland is much better than in the States. Ireland is a place where the air can dry out the palate to a point where nothing will moisten it again like a pint of the black stuff.

We loved Ireland. The itinerary is working out fantastic and the driving direction are great! We loved the bed and breakfast owners we have met and just can't get over the beauty of Ireland. Cheers!
Jeanne, Meghan, Morgan and Madelyn Thank so much for all your guidance in planning my trip. I finally met up with my daughter (Catherine) in Dublin for the last day and a half . She took me to a number of Dublin attractions. Trip was a lot of fun. (Pint of Guinness at the Storehouse, Gravity Bar, 360 view) Patrick |
I love the Giant's Causeway. Just wanted to say that Ireland was the best vacation I have ever had. By far the best place was Abbeyglen Castle. I even found a ruined castle on a nature walk about 30 minutes from Abbeyglen Castle. My favorite day trips were the Giant's Causeway and the Ciiffs of Moher (the day was clear). I needed 3 more hours at each location to do all the hiking and walking I wanted to do. Tanya |
Here are a couple of our favorite pictures from our Princess Alaska cruise and our amazing 3 nights in Anchorage. We also wanted to let you know that, thanks to the balcony in our room, we saw so much wildlife including tons of whales! Thank you again for organizing the trip of a lifetime.

Chilly, but lots of daffodils !!!!
Our CIE Tour group picture at Ross Castle in Killarney, the grounds were beautiful even in late March. At Taylor's Irish Night in Dublin's Fair City, we started with Jameson whiskey shots for appetizers. Newgrange has a lot of history and it over looks the Valley of the Boyne. We are having a incredible time! Every place we have stayed has been more amazing than the last. We loved the Shelboure in Dublin's Fair City. It made our anniversary so very memorable. Sharing a drink at Cullim Cottage,Ashford. Horseback riding on the Dingle Peninsula. Everyone remembers you fondly and sends their best. Mariam from Cahernane House said she gave us a really nice room when she saw your name, it was fabulous! We are in Cobh for our last night and heading to back to Dublin tomorrow. We will need to come back soon because there are many things we did not get to do, we are having loads of fun just socializing with the locals and sipping Guinness in the pubs !!

Maureen, we had a wonderful trip to Ireland ... thanks to you. CIE was very efficient and our driver/guide was very good. This is the ideal itinerary in as much as it covers most of the island and the most interesting spots. As far as highlights are concerned, it's hard to pick a favorite. The quaint little towns were scenic treasures. Certainly Cabra Castle was a standout, as was Kylemore Abbey !! Perhaps the most overwhelming thing was the consistent friendliness of the people.
A great trip! Lynn and I both thank you for making it possible. Jack and Lynn Illinois |
Rome, Florence and Venice was an awesome experience. So many people at the Wednesday Papal Audience, it 's hard to believe this happens every week.
We also enjoyed walking the streets and that was neat seeing all the old houses and sites of Rome. We took the hop off and on bus all over the city and to the Colosseum. We had a great time !! Barb and Hank Wisconsin |
Vickie and John took a short cruise from Hamburg, Germany, then visited London, Ireland and the beautiful city of Edinburgh in Scotland!!
A little jet lagged, but the three of us are waiting at the Papal audience to see the Pope. Our sightseeing included Saint Peter's, Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel, and many churches.
Mom and son at Saint Peter's. Thank you for getting us to Rome to visit the holy sites. Jeff, Janet and Elizabeth Arizona |
Our trip to the Excellence Riviera Cancun Resort was fantastic, we were able to relax and not worry about e-mails, phone calls or any work related things definitely was what we needed and were looking for. The restaurants were very good and we had a least 6 to choose from each night. Alyssa really enjoyed the Lobster House and I liked Toscana. The picture is of Alyssa and me was taken at Tulum. Things have worked out beautifully, accommodations have been great, and even had some time to take a ferry over to Innis Orr, Aran Island.
That night we went to O'Connor's Pub in Doolin for dinner and enjoyed the music for an additional 3 hours.
