               Experience the best of Ireland on this extra value tour.  Your "Heart of Ireland" tour combines all the comforts of a more expensive tour at fantastic savings.  Sight seeing includes Galway, Connemara Region, Cliffs of Moher, Killarney, Dingle Peninsula, Blarney Castle, Cashel, and back to Dublin's Fair City, staying at the Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel. 

Day 1  Saturday:   United States to Ireland
Evening departure for your overnight flight from the States to Ireland.    Dinner is served shortly after take-off.

Day 2   Sunday:   Dublin - Galway   " May the road rise to meet you."
        Early morning arrival at Dublin Airport where  you are met by your Celtic Tours driver/guide after clearing customs, in the arrival hall.   You will be traveling through Ireland on a coach which has panoramic windows, air conditioning and is built for comfort.  As you travel, you will be charmed by the wit and humorof the driver found in the stories of the region's history, geography and local folklore.   Irishmen are born talkers.   And since tradition lives on the lips, this ease of communication will be much to your advantage.
         Depart Dublin and travel the short journey to Galway, where you check into the hotel.  Free time to rest.  In the afternoon, you will enjoy a local panoramic sightseeing tour of Galway City.  Enjoy dinner and sharing with your  fellow travelers at the hotel.  Overnight in Galway.

Day 3   Monday:   Galway - Connemara - Galway
        After breakfast you will enjoy a scenic tour of the Connemara Region.  Travel along Galway Bay to Maam Cross and Clifden.  Continue on via Kylemore Abbey and stop briefly for a photo opportunity.  You will continue via scenic countryside,  making a stop to visit the Connemara Marble and the Celtic Crystal Factory.  Return to Galway where dinner is on your own this evening.  Overnight in Galway with the evening free to enjoy this great city.  

Day 4 Tuesday:  Galway - Cliffs of Moher - Killarney
       
Morning departure from Galway.  Traveling south to the awe inspiring and majestic Cliffs of Moher, which rise 700 feet above the Atlantic Ocean.  A spectacular day with great sea views, before you head onwards to Killarney for dinner and overnight stay in Killarney.  
           
Day 5   Wednesday:   Killarney - Dingle Peninsula

        A delightful day takes you along the Kerry coast to the Dingle Peninsula, which offers magnificent coastal scenery.  Beyond Slea Head, you see the Blasket Islands, the last outpost of Europe.  After a full day tour, you return to Killarney, where you will enjoy dinner at the hotel.  Overnight in Killarney. 

Day 6   Thursday:  Killarney - Blarney - Cashel - Dublin
        Morning departure from Killarney, travel over the mountains to Blarney Castle, where  you pause for a visit to the Blarney Woolens Mills.  Here you have time to enjoy an optional visit to Blarney Castle, and perhaps kiss the famed Blarney Stone.  Leaving Blarney you travel via Tipperary and Cashel, where you will pause for a photo-op at the historic Rock of Cashel.  Arrive in Killiney, County Dublin, where the evening is free to dine on your own tonight.  Overnight at Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel, in Killiney.

Day 7   Friday:  Dublin's Fair City
       
Today you will travel into Dublin City, Ireland's capital city, for a sightseeing tour.  Visit the Guinness Storehouse , enjoying panoramic views of the city from the Gravity Bar, followed by Trinity College and the 8th century Book of Kells.  You have free time to enjoy the capital city independently.  Dublin has plenty of shops, cafes and museums for you to enjoy.  This evening, enjoy a farewell dinner at the Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel.

Day 8   Saturday:   Dublin Airport

Your flight home is today.    After breakfast you have a have a morning departure for Dublin Airport.
